Joel Schwärzler wins the Mazovia Open ATP Challenger 2026!

We have a winner of this year's Mazovia Open ATP Challenger. Joel Schwärzler claimed the title in Kozerki, defeating Andrea Guerrieri 7:6(4), 6:1 in Sunday's final.

The Austrian, seeded number 3, decided the final in straight sets. The first set was very tight and was settled by a tie-break, in which Schwärzler came out on top. In the second set, he took control of the match, winning 6:1. The final on Centre Court lasted 1 hour and 27 minutes.

Title after a demanding journey

Schwärzler started the tournament with a win over Jiri Cizek 6:3, 6:1. In the following rounds, he defeated Aziz Dougaz, Ilya Ivashka, and in the semifinals, after more than two hours of play, Mathys Erhard 3:6, 7:6(5), 6:4. His victory over Guerrieri in the final capped off a very successful week in Kozerki.

It was also an excellent tournament for Andrea Guerrieri. The Italian, seeded number 4, defeated among others Michele Ribecai and Daniil Glinka on his way to the final, coming back in the semifinals after losing the first set 0:6.

Joel Schwärzler thus takes over the Kozerki tournament champion's title from Kamil Majchrzak, last year's winner.

Sunday's final concluded eight days of competition at the Mazovia Open ATP Challenger 2026. In the tournament, held under its new name Mazovia Open, players competed for a prize pool of 97,640 euros.

Congratulations, Joel! 🏆🎾
