A new name, a strong partnership with Mazovia, eight days of tennis competition, and a program prepared not only for sports fans. The most important information about the Mazovia Open ATP Challenger 2026 was presented during a press conference at the PAP Press Center. The tournament will take place from August 2 to 9 in Kozerki.
The press conference dedicated to the fifth edition of the tournament was held on July 28 in Warsaw at the PAP Press Center. Participants included Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Adam Struzik, Mayor of Grodzisk Mazowiecki Tomasz Krupski, Tournament Director Dorota Milczarek, Jarosław Lewandowski – International Development Advisor to the De Arte Athletica Foundation Board, and tennis player Aleksander Błuś. The meeting was hosted by tennis journalist and commentator Marek Furjan, who will also be the voice of Mazovia Open during the tournament.
The conference was preceded by a press breakfast prepared by ToTu Restaurant – the official tournament restaurant. It was an opportunity to talk with media representatives and present the new edition of the event, which fans have known in previous years as Kozerki Open.
A new chapter for the Kozerki tournament
In 2026, the tournament will be held for the first time under the name Mazovia Open ATP Challenger. The change is the result of cooperation with the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Government, which has become the Title Partner of the event.
Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship Adam Struzik emphasized the importance of the tournament both for promoting Mazovia and for the development of young players. Mazovia Open is meant to be an event that allows tennis players to gain experience, ranking points, and take further steps on the road to the world’s courts.
Mayor of Grodzisk Mazowiecki Tomasz Krupski also spoke about the significance of the event for the region. The tournament is not only one of the most important sporting events organized in the municipality, but also an opportunity to showcase its potential, infrastructure, and organizational capabilities to guests from Poland and abroad.
Eight days of sporting excitement
Mazovia Open ATP Challenger 2026 will begin on August 2. The first two days will be dedicated to the qualifying rounds, during which players will compete for a place in the main draw. From August 4, the main tournament will start on the courts, and from August 7 to 9, the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final will be played.
In the previous edition of the tournament in Kozerki, Kamil Majchrzak claimed victory. As Tournament Director Dorota Milczarek noted during the conference, tennis has repeatedly shown that it is hard to predict which player will “break through” at a given event and begin their climb up the world rankings. Mazovia Open is meant to give such an opportunity to more players.
Among the players who will compete in Kozerki is Aleksander Błuś. The young tennis player received a wild card for the qualifying rounds and will have the chance to fight for a spot in the main draw in front of the Polish crowd. During the conference, he spoke about his preparations, the importance of competing in Poland, and his upcoming tournament plans.
World-class competition standards
Jarosław Lewandowski spoke about the development of the tournament and its international significance. Mazovia Open is an ATP Challenger 75 event, and the points earned in Kozerki can be crucial for players’ future careers and their ATP ranking positions.
This year’s edition will once again feature Electronic Line Calling (ELC) Systems – the electronic line-calling system that allows matches to be played according to the standards known from the world’s biggest tournaments.
The singles semifinals and final will be broadcast by Polsat Sport. The competition can also be followed via international ATP Challenger tournament streaming.
Attractions for the whole family
Mazovia Open will be an event aimed not only at the most dedicated tennis fans. Activity and relaxation zones will also be set up in Kozerki, and the program will include attractions, workshops, and shows designed for entire families.
From August 2 to 6, fans will be able to watch the qualifying matches and the first rounds of the main draw for free from the Main Stand. Tickets are also available for the Premium Stand as well as the covered VIP Silver and Gold stands. Guests can also take advantage of the Sport & Business Zone, combining the excitement of the competition with opportunities for meetings and networking.
A trophy inspired by Mazovia and tennis
One of the elements presented during the conference was the trophy prepared for the tournament winners. It is an original Mazovia Open design made of glass.
Its form combines several symbols: the letter “M,” referring to Mazovia and Mazovia Open, a heart shape referencing the slogan “Mazovia – the heart of Poland,” and a tennis ball. During the conference, Marshal Adam Struzik was among the first to see and hold the trophy. In just a few days, it will be handed to the tournament winner.

Mazovia Open ATP Challenger 2026 will take place from August 2 to 9 on the Tenis Kozerki courts at 92 Jowisza Street.
